I studied social psychology and after completing my studies I initially worked as a market researcher in the field of public broadcasting. After this period, I mastered the profession of management trainer and worked for a wide range of commercial clients. 

For more than 20 years I worked in various Ministeries of the Dutch government, including Justice, Interior Affairs and and the Tax and Customs Administration. Working initially on management development, I later on focussed on organisational development and change management. During my career, I participated in a variety of European expert missions in the field of management and organisational development.

I completed my career in the Public Service as a senior management and organisational advisor.
